Only 4% will stand. 

 

We're looking at one of the largest generations of young Americans that have ever lived. 33 million of them are teens right now.

35% of the boomer generation (today's adults) hold core biblical beliefs. It's estimated that only 4% of their children

”this generation of teenagers” will stand firm for Jesus.1


Look at what is happening already under the boomer generation's leadership:

 

• Morally corrupt films and television programs.
• An increasingly perverted music industry.
• The pornographic invasion of the Internet.
• Civil initiatives promoting gay marriage.
• Rulings that have dictated removal of the 10 Commandments from U.S. courthouses.
• 50% of marriages end in divorce.

This isn't just about America! This nation is the biggest supporter of missions work world-wide. Whatever direction we go, so will the world.

If something isn't done now, it will only get worse.

 

BUT DO WE BELIEVE?

 

Put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. 

For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of darkness of this age,

against spiritual hosts of wickedness in the heavenly places...

Ephesians 6: 11-12

Bear Witness Ministries has an overwhelming burden to reach pre teens and teens that will never come to a typical bible study or church youth group. God has given us the vision to start with where these teens are to help them see how they fit into this world. They are bombarded daily at school, on TV and in their music by demonic forces. What is right is seen as wrong and what is wrong is seen as right. Everything is relative. We have interviewed teens and they are confused by the mixed messages. They have many questions and they want answers. Our goal is to help them come to the realization of the truth to the Bible. We want to help them understand that the ultimate spiritual battle of good verses evil is being waged around them and they are part of that battle whether they know it or not.  The battle is for their eternal soul.  We will help them see the big picture and give them the tools to fight the good fight of faith. These issues  are confronted head on, through discussions, scriptures, movies and documentaries in a concerted effort to lead them to an understanding that God has a plan and a purpose for their lives and how to fulfill that plan.

 

Battle Cry for a Generation is a call to rally people of faith.   A call to rally people of faith to stand up and fight for the soul of America's young people. We cannot stand idly by and watch our children be brutalized and stripped of their purity and their morality. Alarm and outrage are not enough.  We must take action!

The BATTLECRY Campaign is a multi-faceted strategy designed to bring deep, lasting change in the lives of millions of teens. But it will take all of us parents, business people, church leaders, youth workers, government officials, factory workers, musicians, filmmakers, teachers, etc. to rescue a generation. Working with key partners, we will work to provide the strategy, training, tools, resources and events to reach a generation of young people and lead them down a path of spiritual transformation.
